Bite-Sized communications are resources disseminated weekly through text and/or email. They are aimed to enhance Parent Center Staffs’ ability to provide high quality services to all families and youth. Topics include but are not limited to effective communication, active listening, the intersection of disability, race and special education, trauma in immigrant families, cultural humility vs cultural competency, self-directed IEPs, and self-care. The content is “bite-sized,” meaning it is able to be viewed in 90 seconds or less.
